The main reason I'm going to college is to have practical skills so that I would be able to "work with my own hands" and also so that I would not get disowned by my parents (half-joke). I want a "tent-making" skill so that I can go and share the good news to those who have not heard. The main reason for missions is not an end in itself, but the purpose of missions is so that people can hear the good news and "glorify God in the day of visitation." So, going to a UC school isn't my "chief end", and neither is missions. My chief end is to "glorify God and enjoy Him forever."

"Missions exist because worship doesn't. When this age is over, and the countless millions of the redeemed fall on their faces before the throne of God, missions will be no more. It is a temporary necessity. But worship abides forever." John Piper

"This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." John 17:3
