Nowadays the term "crazy" has several meanings. Pyscho, insane, really cool, intense, wild...etc. I asked someone if he thought I was crazy(insane) today. I think he thought I meant crazy(cool/intense) and so I felt stupid afterwards.
Practicing the Presence: It's kind of hard to really realize that God, THE GOD, is here right now. A lot of my day is spent without the understanding that God is with me. I wish it wouldn't be that way.
Poverty: We were talking about poor people in environmental science (I don't know how it came up) but for some reason we all think we've been there. We live in Diamond Bar, no matter how poor anyone is, they still don't skip meals because of it. Even in all of america, many homeless people have enough food. They're relatively poor compared to all the rich people in this country. We talk a lot about ways we can help these people or fix this problem, but when the time comes to act, all the talking is worthless.
Poverty in Missions: The goal of missions is God's glory. It may sound cruel, but even food can wait for what people in third world countries need. Food, shelter, clothes, hospitals... the list goes on. All of this comes second to what they really need. They need Christ.
