Live from Seoul, Korea... it's Joshua Lim!
Hello... hello... I know that I have been MIA the past month or so and there are many stories to tell. Lots of fun-filled, exciting, life/death stories... But I'm kind of tired so I'll save those for a later date.
Anyway, I've been in Asia for the past month which is really not that long, but the anticipation of going home seems to make a week feel like an eternity. So I'm at some PC Baang right now typing my brain away having committed an hour of my life to this smoke infested room. Usually they charge by the half hour, but I guess this place charges by the hour. Ignorant of this I grabbed a card and signed on. I found out about the hourly charge after "2,000 won" appeared on my screen. Can't afford to waste that much money... that's a trip from my house to Lotte World... and back... or two Ice Cream cones or four McDonald's Chocolate Dipped cones. That much money cannot be wasted. Although time is expensive, too but that's just getting too philosophicical.
This next paragraph will be dedicated to the last month of travel written as concisely as possible. 7/3 Incheon, 7/6 Beijing, 7/7 Urumqi, 7/21 Beijing, 7/22 Incheon, 7/23 Daejeon, 8/4 Balsan (home)... and the journey continues. In just four days I'll be getting on another blasted airplane, heading back home to California. But I'll save that for later, this paragraph is for Asia. Come to think of it, that's all I'll write about China and Korea for now. I think that's good...
Having concluded this entry I realize that it lacks any real content and any hint of content just ends with "I'll save that for later..." There you have it. The last month of my life in three paragraphs. Of course, a lot more has happened but you're gonna have to talk to me in person for that.
Signing out, I'm Joshua Lim.
