My dad gave me $100 for the China mission trip! Thank you God. I'm realizing that I need to do more to save up money, I need to work. I ordered an ipod shuffle... it was taking forever to ship (thank God). I cancelled it today, I feel free. It was almost $200! But now, that won't be on my conscience and I will really be able to give what I have to saving up for this trip. I'm teaching drums and I think I'll be able to have $200 dollars for the first deposit by the deadline. Thriftiness... that's what God is teaching me.

I don't know if my dad giving me $100 dollars is a sign of his support. I hope it is. I'm glad, before this he was opposed to me going to missions, but I guess he's ok with it now (short-term at least). Lord, change my father's heart so that he would seek You above all things.

Prepare my own heart for this trip, and I pray that Your gospel will, "sound forth" not only in China, but also in every place my faith towards you goes forth. Thank You Lord.
